The Black’s file is available in fine to coarse file surfaces. This allows you to choose and instrument which best meets your needs as a practitioner.

A Black’s file is used to identify skin from the free border of the nail, to clean detritus from beneath the free border, to file thickened nail margins and remove clani (seed corns).
